7. A Sense Of Purpose

Have you ever gone to a doctor’s office and felt that they were simply going through the motions and collecting money?

I have absolutely felt that way a time or two and it’s usually obvious and uncomfortable. I think that the better doctor is genuinely concerned about his patients’ well-being, and how he can help them in the best manner possible. Not only help them with immediate relief, but also with ongoing health matters throughout their lives.

Even on top of that though, it would be nice to find a chiropractor that you felt had the community’s best interests in mind. One that got into the profession of chiropractic in order to heal people. And to heal as many people as he could possibly reach. That’s part of our goal. We want to bring chiropractic to the masses. To do that, we have to be responsible, affordable, and reasonable in our recommendations. If we remove the common obstacles to getting care and remaining with us, then we will accomplish the goal.

In my experience being an Amarillo chiropractor, you can’t fake this. People of the Texas Panhandle can see right through. You must be sincere in their desire to help and to be involved.

We are helping our community. We are doing this through our Thank You Patients days where, one day per month, we give our community the chance to come in for a new patient exam at no charge whatsoever. We also hold canned food drives to benefit the High Plains Food Bank as well our Toys For Tots event during the Christmas holidays. We want to make sure we are doing our part to give back to Amarillo people. In addition, we are members of our local Chamber of Commerce and I am more than happy to give stress lectures to any civic or area organization that asks me.

Basically, when trying to find a chiropractor that fits, you need someone that thinks and works on a higher level rather than someone that just shows up to work and does their job. A doctor that is excited and jazzed to be doing what they’re doing in the place where they are doing it. A doctor with a sincere since of purpose.

THAT’S the guy I want to go to!
