What can chiropractic do for cancer and other serious conditions that are of similar gravity?

The first thing is that the patient needs to be under the care of a licensed medical professional. Chronic and life-threatening conditions should be treated as life-threatening. If a chiropractor ever tells you he can cure your cancer, you should run! However, that does not mean that chiropractic is useless for patients that have a life-threatening illness.

Many of these patients have pain. They have pain from laying in bed. They can have pain from the illness itself. Many of them can also have pain due to the treatments they are forced to undergo. A lot of this sort of pain can be helped through chiropractic. Several patients are undergoing treatments and taking medication that will prevent them from taking certain medications for their pain and discomfort. This is good reason that chiropractic is a good alternative due to it’s being natural and drug free.

Being a chiropractor in Amarillo, I know that there is not a working relationship with most of the medical doctors but I have noticed that slowly changing over time. The ideal situation would be for the medical doctor and the chiropractor to work together to coordinate proper treatment for these patients. The chiropractor can hopefully make something that is mostly miserable into an experience that is hopefully bearable.
